Bryan G. Johnson M.D., FACP

Recruited to the North Dallas area in 2000 in preparation for the explosive growth of this community, Dr. Bryan G. Johnson founded Stonebriar Medical Associates; a medical practice that is fully independent of the hospital-owned and large group practice models. This allows Dr. Johnson to advocate for not just physicians - he serves as a elected representative of Texas in the American Medical Association - but also for his patients, whose best interests he advocates for through the Texas Medical Association.

Raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, Dr. Johnson is an alumni of Michigan State University and The University of Kansas School of Medicine. Additionally, he is a proud veteran, having served his country in the United States Army Medical Corp. for his residency training.

When not continuing to serve as a representative from the State of Texas in the American Medical Association, advocating on behalf of all Texans through the Texas Medical Association, or fulfilling his role of Treasurer in the Texas Chapter of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Johnson enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. He can be found cycling, running, creating woodworking projects, appreciating the arts, and traveling with his family.

Chinyere Odu M.D

Dr. Odu embarked on her medical journey at the University of Lagos, Nigeria where she earned her medical degree and honed her skills through post-graduate internships at the Army Hospital in Lagos.

Seeking to broaden her horizons, Dr. Odu ventured to Boston, MA to pursue a Masters degree in Public Health at Harvard University. Her dedication to advancing healthcare knowledge led her to the Hamon Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where she served as a post-doctoral fellow specializing in oncology research.

She completed her residency in internal medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, where she immersed herself in clinical practice. During this time she provided care at both the General Hospital in Nashville and the Veteran Affairs hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. With more than 13 years of experience in primary care, Dr. Odu seamlessly incorporates preventative measures into her integrative approach to patient care.

Beyond her professional life, Dr. Odu finds joy in exploring the world alongside her family, immersing herself in reading, and nurturing her love for gardening.
